Dr. Nagori is a physician entrepreneur who currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for SimpleHealth.com, a telemedicine platform she helped to found in 2015. In just 4 years, over 1 million patients have used the SimpleHealth telemedicine platform. Dr. Nagori is a pioneer in telemedicine and is passionate about women's health as well as health equity. She has been an invited speaker for several organizations and national conferences. She is also a key opinion leader several health technology companies, and is a practicing clinician.
Joseph Habboushe, MD
Dr. Habboushe is an emergency physician at NYU and the CEO/Cofounder of MDCalc- the largest physician medical referenced used by over 65% of U.S. doctors monthly. Joe also founded Vitalis Pharmaceuticals, which is currently developing several medications he has invented. Joe serves as President Elect of the Weill Cornell Medical Alumni Association and sits on the advisory board of Columbia Business School's Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Management Program.
Sylvia Romm, MD
Dr. Romm is the Founder and Chairperson of SonderHealth, a telehealth company focused on the nutrition needs of infants through adults. Her company was acquired by American Well where she now serves as VP of Clinical Transformation. Dr. Romm works with health systems, health plans, pharma companies, and innovators to design and implement their digital health strategies. She has authored articles in NEJM Catalyst, Forbes, KevinMD, Huffington Post and was named as FierceHealthCare's 8 Influential Women Reshaping Health IT.
Dhaval Bhanusali, MD
Dr. Bhanusali is a practicing dermatologist and serves as the CEO of Health Digital, a rapidly growing health tech firm based out of NYC and Tampa. He was recognized as Crain's New York's top 25 Healthcare Innovators. One of his current projects is developing a new EMR for Dermatology. Dr. Bhanusali has also been featured in Elite Daily, Buzzfeed, Yahoo, the Atlantic, People Magazine, Teen Vogue, Self, Bustle, and WebMD.
Khizer Khaderi, MD
Dr. Khaderi, is the Founder and CEO of Vizzario Inc, a human-centered artificial intelligence company. He previously served as the director of Neuro-Ophthalmology at UC Davis Eye Center and is the founder of UC Davis Sports Vision Lab. Dr. Khaderi is an adjust associate professor at Stanford University and the head of the Stanford Performance Vision Center and Lab. He is an advisor for several start ups, including Magic Leap, and has a domain expertise in visual psychophysics, wearables, virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality and artificial intelligence.
Sunit Jariwala, MD
Dr. Jariwala is the Director of Clinical and Research Innovation for the Department of Medicine at Einstein / Montefiore. He is also Director of Allergy/Immunology Research and created ASTHMAXcel, an app for personalized asthma education to both children and adults. He has been the Principal Investigator for 12 grants, and his mobile app specifically has obtained over $2 million in grant funding. He is the Vice Chair and Chair-Elect of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology's Health Informatics, Technology & Education Committee.
Emily Wein, Esq.
Emily H. Wein is a health care lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP, and member of the firm’s national Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team. Emily delivers practical legal guidance designed to comply with the law and accomplish client’s operational goals. She has worked with large interdisciplinary hospital systems, skilled nursing facilities, multi-state clinical practices, and physician entrepreneurs. Emily has notable depth on advising telemedicine clients on the highly technical, traditional healthcare regulatory issues of Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, and billing and coding.
Joel Wishkovsky is the CEO and Founder of SimpleHealth.com an online telemedicine platform for the renewal of contact lenses and birth control evaluations. SimpleHealth was founded in 2015 and since then has raised over 25 million in funding, most recently completing a Series B raise in May of 2018. Joel is also a Board Member at Parsley Health and an investor at Unreasonable Ventures. He was also the Founder and COO of SOLS which was acquired by Aetrex Worldwide.
Purvi Parikh, MD
Dr. Parikh is the President of the NY Allergy and Asthma Society. She is also board member for Physicians for Patient Protection and serves on the Health and Public Policy Committee for the American College of Physicians. She is a spokesperson for the Allergy and Asthma Network and makes frequent appearances on NBC, FOX, CNN, Wallstreet Journal and CBS. She has a monthly column in US News and World report and participated in a vaccine panel with actress Zoe Saldana representing the United Nation Foundation’s shot@life initiative. Dr. Parikh was recently invited to the home of Sir Richard Branson, Founder of the Virgin Group, to participate in a think tank on changing the world in a positive way.
Rahul Dubey is CEO of Percynal Health Innovations and the Founder of the America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Innovation Lab. Rahul is currently responsible for collaborating with C-level executives at his Health Plan, Provider IDN, collaborating organizations as well as across multi-institutional stakeholders to develop and implementing innovative frameworks and unique approaches that lead to accelerated adoption of mission critical initiatives that ensure the delivery of high quality care and improve consumers ability to receive needed care all while driving down the overall cost of the overall care received.
Samantha Nazareth, MD
Dr. Nazareth is a practicing gastroenterologist in NYC. She sits on the medical advisory board at Women’s Health magazine. She also advises medtech start-ups and investors on clinical validation and use case perspective. She has contributed as a writer and medical commentator on CNN, Huffington Post, Bustle, Popsugar, US News, Shape, MindBodyGreen and Reader’s Digest. Dr. Nazareth speaks on gut health and healthcare innovation and has deep expertise in nutrition, microbiome and wellness.
Karan Mehta, Investor
Karan is an investor at Octopus Ventures, an NYC/London-based tech Venture Capital firm that invests in the earliest stages of company formation and has the ability to follow their investment from a few hundred thousand right up to $35m. Prior to OV, Karan was a startup consultant at VentureProject, scaled and exited a direct to consumer jewelry brand, led strategy and operations for a jewelry manufacturing company, and was a trader at JP Morgan.
Sirish Kondabolu, MD
Dr. Kondabolu is a practicing Orthopaedic Surgeon and the Co-Founder/CEO of Medicine ReMixed, a media company and creative agency focused on podcasting and voice technology in Healthcare. He served as a consultant for Anchor FM, a startup recently acquired by Spotify. Medicine ReMixed was named to The Best Podcasts list in 2018 by Anchor. Dr. Kondabolu is currently a Media consultant for Orthobullets, an online platform for Orthopaedic Surgery education. He created a Top 100 iTunes Education Podcast called “The Orthobullets Podcast.” His current projects include patient education applications for voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Leah Houston, MD
Dr. Leah Houston is a board-certified Emergency Physician and the Founder of HPEC - the Humanitarian Physicians Empowerment Community. HPEC is using blockchain technology to create a decentralized community of physicians and is building a platform that will give every physician a self-sovereign digital identity attached to their credentials. HPEC goals are to restore physician autonomy, streamline the current antiquated and laborious process of credentialing, reduce administrative waste, improve access to care, and give physicians sovereign ownership of their data and employment rights.

Deborah Shelton is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of McCarter & English, and the leader of the firm’s FDA Regulatory Practice. Deborah provides clients with industry-relevant FDA regulatory expertise in drugs, biologics, and medical devices. Aditi Deeg is the Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer for Health Tech Women as well as the Chief Operating Officer for The Junior League, a 115 year old non profit, and one of the oldest, largest, and most effective women's volunteer organizations in the world. Jay Bhatt is the Senior VP and Chief Medical Officer of the American Hospital Association (AHA), president of HRET and serves on the executive team for the AHA Center for Health Innovation. Most recently, he was the first chief health officer at the Illinois Health & Hospital Association. In this role, he led large improvement projects including the Hospital Engagement Network (HEN) and has launched several improvement collaboratives, managed the Medical Executive Forum, led the Midwest Alliance for Patient Safety, launched a physician leadership academy, and designed and advanced a statewide high-reliability initiative.
Vincent Deramo, MD
Dr. Deramo, is a practicing ophthalmologist and is the Chief of Ophthalmology at Syosset Hospital. Ann Mond Johnson is the CEO of the American Telemedicine Association (ATA). Previously she served as the CEO of Zest Health, a technology-enabled service that enables consumers to optimize their benefits by combining a mobile firstsolution with access to live support. Under her leadership, Zest solidified its value proposition and doubled its base business in one year. Prior to joining Zest, Ann co-founded and served as the CEO of Subimo, a pioneer in healthcare cost and quality transparency tools for consumers. Dr. Samant Virk is Founder & CEO of MediSprout. Premal Kamdar is a healthcare entrepreneur, consultant, and engineer. As an
Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Stevens Venture Center, he co-founded an
industry-sponsored HealthTech Hackathon to advance Stevens Institute’s vision as a
technological leader in healthcare. He has advised several pharmaceutical and biotech companies across the product life cycle and built commercialization strategies for early-stage companies and hospitals. Premal holds degrees from Cambridge University and Stevens Institute of Technology and was a digital health fellow at the Texas Medical Center.
